Opportunities

​

The opportunities are truly exciting and the only reason why they have not been grasped before, is that society – and the way it is currently organised by our leaders from a steering viewpoint – is consumed with dogma.  
 

That dogma is coupled to: 

1.    an unwillingness to see what is possible by route of change
2.    a refusal to accept the inadequacies of the current approach, and 
3.    a reluctance to be brave in grasping the Opportunities now available

 

As Sir Ken Robinson said about Education:

“Reform is no use any more – because

that is simply improving an outdated model.  

What we need is not evolution - but Revolution in Education.  

It has to be transformed into something else.”

We invite our visitors to view the articles we have collected under the heading of OPPORTUNITIES.  We also challenge each and every one of you to be thoroughly UN-inspired by what you read, what you hear and what you learn. 

​

We are actually confident - you will NOT fail to be immensely INSPIRED!
Teachers, educationists and others among you, are invited to add your own thoughts on expanding the window through which we can all view a widening array of amazing possibilities in Education.

The articles help provide that window for us all to see what is possible - and if we are sufficiently brave to grasp the OPPORTUNITIES – confidently with both hands – then society working as one can convert these opportunities – and many more still to be defined – into a new reality for all our children.

For our society’s most precious asset!

Threats

​

On the flip side of the coin, we have Education’s nemesis.

It's a nemesis we include under the heading - Threats - since that's what it is.

​

There are in fact two very distinct types of Threat. 


1.    The Threat to our children’s development and futures resultant from shying away from grasping the Opportunities spoken of above.

​

The cost of NOT rising with the tide now - putting off the revolution which must surely be inevitable – is truly incalculable and incalculable in so many different ways.

​

2.    The Threat to our children of a completely different kind – and one which did not exist just a very short time ago.

​

It is of great concern to many – and not least parents of school-going age children – that there is talk in the media of a need and intention to inoculate our children against the No1 disease of this time.  There are strong views on both sides of the argument for such a programme to be rolled out as early as this year.  It is the fact there are strong opposing views in this argument, that a wrong decision - if taken - poses a major threat to our children’s wellbeing – let alone their Education.

​

Due to this, we have accumulated a series of articles which support the argument NOT to inoculate - based on reasons related to need or to safety.  The views expressed in this series are barely mentioned in the mainstream media which is the key reason why we have made them available here - for our visitors to contemplate.  The absence of open debate on the subject – and not least the censoring by the media of all opposing views – could not make this subject more worrying for us all.  

 

Given these very facts, our stance on this issue is this:
No action should be taken to inoculate our children UNTIL a full investigation and analysis is conducted on the need for - and the potential effects of - such a programme being rolled out.  
In short a full SWOT analysis is called for and urgently!

The 3 levels provide a reasoned and logical pathway for those who wish to delve deeper into the topic.  The topic, and its related subject matter, is both broad and complex, with wide ranging consequences, depending on one's beliefs and understanding.

LEVELS

Firstly, articles are arranged in THREE levels, the titles for each being self-explanatory.  Shorter articles are included in Level ONE with the most lengthy or complex in Level THREE.  Our suggestion for all visitors is to commence with Level ONE and progress at whatever pace suits. 

PLAYLISTS

For those with less time available, we have compiled PLAYLISTS of the material which encapsulates what we consider to be some of the most pivotal or main points of disclosure.  Visitors starting instead with the PLAYLISTS - we believe - will find it absorbing and certainly truly informative to further research the subjects by accessing the additional material contained within the Levels ONE, TWO and THREE.

LATEST POSTS
Lastly, we are pleased to direct our frequent visitors to the articles posted most recently and these are accessed via LATEST POSTS.

NOTE

 

In time, visitors may find their access to certain articles has been blocked. This is not something we do.  It is something which the hosting media channels do - or are forced to do - in efforts to silence opposing narratives and comment.  It has been experienced before and we have seen it with - for example - YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.  The same articles have also been subject to censorship by the search engine Google.

​

The quoted reasons for removal by these platforms often suggests that the material posted by the source has been judged by the platform as having violated community guidelines.  It is usual in these instances for the judgement to be published without an accompanying statement describing  the said violation and without a further information about the platform's community guidelines.  To say the reasoning is dubious is putting it mildly. Another way of looking at these deletions, is that they are an act of limiting free speech.

   

SUMMARY

We believe visitors will find the accumulated material thought provoking. Visitors may be motivated to commence their own detailed research into the subjects covered - charting their own way through the theories and facts as presented by the different sources.  We encourage exactly that.  Our single objective is to help us all in that process - to separate the distorted or fictitious stories from the evidenced TRUTH.
